THE STORY OF THE BITCH

THE STORY OF THE BITCH

THAT SKINNY BITCH was developed out of the need for a more curated candle. Also known as the ultimate dinner candle, each candle undergoes an artisanal hand-dipped process. The candle is accompanied by a hand-honed marble base, further making this range of candles incredibly luxurious and unique. A core focus of the brand ensures the bases are also re-usable therefore adding to the environmentally friendly aspect of this collection. The vision of THAT SKINNY BITCH was always about going back to the art of making something.

Founded by interior designer Reyjeane Haroun who’s own passion for tablescaping (which became hugely popular during the covid-19 pandemic; as the shift of moving back into our homes and entertaining at home became not only the focus but the necessity of the times) was the key inspiration behind developing this range of candles; she also wanted the energy of the product to be cheeky, fun and not serious at all in its approach; thus the name: THAT SKINNY BITCH.

The range of candles now also has a collection of accessories to compliment; the company will continue to grow the range of accessories and candle colour offerings. The entire process is locally made in cape town, south africa and the aesthetic of the candle is now also inspiring artists from around the world to create sculptures and objet to hold the candles.

The possibilities are endless and her future is bright… shine bitch shine!
